July is here! This means school vacation in Denmark and often also a pause in various events.
There are some events happening this week and again end of July and on - however it is possible to find things to do in the three weeks of July where Denmark "summer hibernates", e.g. museums and nature fairy tales never close down and if you are into soccer you can watch the national women's team train in Vejle this summer.
I have also added a sneak peek at events to come after summer, stay tuned for more PR.
Summer Camp at the library - July 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Join the Children's Library Summer Camp in week 27 (July 2nd, 3rd and 4th) and help make the library an "unsafe zone" with pranks, fun and other crazy silliness.
Based on the funniest children's books, the library is setting up different workshops for you to try, e.g. on the 2nd you can make "farts", animations and much more.
Then you might like to see the national women's soccer team at Vejle Stadion on July 13th? They have an open practice, prior to their EM-qualificationmatch against Czechia on the 16th.
When the Women's National Team is in Denmark, you have the opportunity to meet the players, watch them train and often get autographs from your favorite player.
It's free of charge - just show up at VB Parken, Hellumvej 9, 7100 Vejle.
Both the Cultural Museum and Vejle Art Museum are open with free admission all summer, making it a perfect opportunity to take the family to the museum. Danish summer weather is unpredictable, so bring your family to us whether it's pouring rain or unbearably hot – it's always dry and comfortably temperate here 😊
We have many activities for the whole family, all available in English, German, and Danish.
