Shake off the cold days and add colour to winter by learning how to paint and upcycle with local artist and all-round colourful character Junette Bay.
This English-spoken workshop is an invitation to slow down, create with intention, and rediscover the quiet joy that colour and creativity can bring.
You’ll transform a scallop shell into a beautifully painted trinket dish while learning how to choose the right brushes, find inspiration for motifs, and work with artist-quality paints. Along the way, Junette shares stories from her artistic journey — including the bright mural you may recognize from Vejle Centrum — and her wish to make a quiet but insisting difference through art.
Your finished piece can hold jewelry or keys, or hang on the wall as a small, joyful reminder of winter well spent.
✨ All levels welcome!
Whether you’re a seasoned painter craving creative exchange or a curious beginner ready to play with colour, Junette creates a warm, encouraging space to explore, ask questions, and learn.
NOTE: on January 19th Newcomer Service will co-host the workshop and therefore be paying for the sign-ups. If you want to join this event, sign up by writing Louise at bosaetningsguide@vejle.dk - first come, first served.
