The American Apology Tour - January 29th

Whether you're an expat, immigrant, visitor, or local with a thing for confused Americans, The American Apology Tour is your chance to laugh at someone else’s awkward adjustment phase. It’s a show for anyone who’s ever moved abroad, dated across cultures, or wanted an personal apology from an American.

In this solo stand-up show, Pat Moore dives into the strange, funny, and sometimes humiliating reality of being an American trying to adapt to life abroad — with no language skills, no volume control, and no national pride.

Brighten the Winter Lull

— Turn January into Something Joyful, Creative & Meaningful 🎨

Shake off the cold days and add colour to winter by learning how to paint and upcycle with local artist and all-round colourful character Junette Bay.

This English-spoken workshop is an invitation to slow down, create with intention, and rediscover the quiet joy that colour and creativity can bring.

You’ll transform a scallop shell into a beautifully painted trinket dish while learning how to choose the right brushes, find inspiration for motifs, and work with artist-quality paints. Along the way, Junette shares stories from her artistic journey — including the bright mural you may recognize from Vejle Centrum — and her wish to make a quiet but insisting difference through art.

Your finished piece can hold jewelry or keys, or hang on the wall as a small, joyful reminder of winter well spent.

✨ All levels welcome!
Whether you’re a seasoned painter craving creative exchange or a curious beginner ready to play with colour, Junette creates a warm, encouraging space to explore, ask questions, and learn.

Threads Between Earth and Sky - from January 29th

THREADS BETWEEN EARTH AND SKY by Alberte Bager og Anne Søgaard Frandsen.

With the exhibition Threads Between Earth and Sky, Spinderihallerne presents two emerging craft artists from Design School Kolding and the Royal Danish Academy, each working in their own material: textile and clay.

Alberte Bager and Anne Søgaard Frandsen explore each other’s practices with works poetically and artistically presented as threads with – between – against one another.

Like islands that are in themselves isolated, yet also connected. Centered around a tree of life, from the dark roots of sorrow to the bright crown of hope.
